BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday, Berkeley County deputies say they responded to a gunshot victim at the Hot Spot gas station on North Main Street.
Once on scene, deputies noticed the victim, Douglas Clay Scott Shelton, bleeding from his back and a shirt soaked with what appeared to be blood.
A witness who was at the Hot Spot with the victim told deputies that the initial incident occurred at 1147 College Park Road at the Summercreek Mobile Home Park.
