GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Goose Creek Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen camper.
Officers say the camper is a 2012 Jayco Jay Feather brand, VIN 1UJBJ0BP9C1JU0062, that was stolen from the Crowfield Plantation Homeowner’s Association RV lot on April 26, 2016.
The camper is valued at $28,000, according to the police report.
Police investigated the case the following day, meeting with the victim at 300 Westview Blvd.
According to the report, the victim told police that on April 25th she parked her travel trailer on it and carefully secured it around 5 p.m.
Two days later, she told police she received a message from Crowfield HOA saying that the vehicle storage yard was possibly broken into on April 26th.
The victim says she went to check on her trailer and found it was missing from the storage yard.
