MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–One person has suffered severe burns following an explosion at a Moncks Corner home Monday night, according to Moncks Corner police.
The incident reportedly occurred at a home on Sheridan Court.
Authorities confirm that one man was taken to the Augusta Burn Center for treatment.
The cause of the explosion is unknown at this time.
Hazmat crews, firefighters, EMS and police are currently on the scene.
The Charleston County Bomb Squad is also assisting Moncks Corner authorities with the incident.
