BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Okay, so this story isn’t exactly “breaking news” or even “developing” for that matter. However, it’s a cute one nonetheless.
Yes, you are looking at a full-grown dog, miniature in size, that can walk on its two back legs.
Her name? It’s a pretty simple one. As you can tell from the fur, she’s known only as “Fuzzy.”
She belongs to my parents who live out on Highway 17A between Jamestown and the Macedonia community.
My father found her in August 2012 in the woods out in Huger while deer hunting. He never actually found a deer that day. Instead, some might argue he found something better–a tiny ball of fur clinging to life. Someone apparently didn’t want her and dumped her off like trash.
Needless to say, my dad came to her rescue, scooping her up and bringing her home. She’s been living the good life of an indoor dog ever since.
We don’t really know what she is, only a mutt of some sort. A local vet believes she’s probably part miniature Poodle mixed with something else.
We just know she’s cute! Oh, and she loves food! In fact, if you tempt her with ham or some other kind of “people food,” she will walk on her little legs in an effort to snatch the food straight out of your hand.
I hear recently, she’s even learned how to twirl. Either way, the video to the left of this page shows “Fuzzy” in action. Enjoy!
