MACEDONIA–This afternoon, the Macedonia Fire Department responded to a bad wreck on Bethera Road.
Crews on scene say the woman was airlifted by helicopter to a local hospital.
They say the accident happened after she was going around a sharp curb and lost control of her SUV. When rescue crews arrived, her SUV was upside down on a pine tree.
Her pet dog was in the vehicle at the time of the accident. At this time, crews have not been able to locate the animal.
The driver’s condition is currently unknown.
