GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The American Red Cross assisted a family of 1 adult and 2 children who were displaced after their mobile home at 115 Issac Abbey Court was destroyed earlier this evening due to a fire. This is the second fire disaster in Goose Creek within a 24 hour period.
The Goose Creek Rural Fire Department was the lead agency handling the fire. As of right now, there are nor reports of any injures or what may have caused the fire to begin with.
The Red Cross provided the family with seasonal garments, financial assistance for lodging, food and clothing, comfort kits with hygiene products and referrals to partnering agencies.
