BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–In anticipation of frozen precipitation and icy conditions for late tomorrow afternoon, the Berkeley County School District has decided it will operate according to a half day dismissal schedule on Tuesday, January 28.
Regarding the Winter storm predicted for the lowcountry, a district spokesperson says the welfare of its students is a top priority.
Parents can find the half day dismissal schedule for their children’s schools on the district’s website.
At this time, there are no schedule changes expected for early care programs or arrival times. After-school activities and events—including ball games, club meetings, practices, day care, etc.—for Tuesday are cancelled.
The January 28, 2014 regular School Board Meeting has been cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 2013, 6:30 p.m
