Corner DMV office, was chosen as the
2013 SCDMV Employee of the Year for Field
Services Region 2.
Kim Rose, Assistant Manager of the Moncks Corner DMV office, was recently chosen as the 2013 SCDMV Employee of the Year for Field Services Region 2. DMV announced the award at its Annual Employee Awards Ceremony held at DMV headquarters in Blythewood, SC. Region 2.
Manager Kim Fralick nominated Rose for her outstanding service and dedication to the citizens of South Carolina.
“Kim is the Assistant Manager, but she routinely works on the front counter right beside her employees processing just as many transactions as they do, if not more,” said Fralick. “She always goes the extra mile to reduce wait times and improve customer service and still completes all management duties before leaving the office each day. You could not ask for a better employee.”
Rose was one of four field office employees chosen as Employees of the Year for their respective regions in the state.
Three employees from Headquarters were recognized as the Employee, Supervisor and Manager of the Year and a fourth employee was selected as the DMV Volunteer of the Year. Executive Director Kevin Shwedo considers the recognized employees role models for the agency.
“These employees are the embodiment of our agency’s values – Competent, Committed and Courteous,” said Director Shwedo. “They represent our agency in the best possible manner, serving as role models to their co-workers and as positive examples of selfless public servants to their community.”
