MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Wanna have some fun this coming weekend?
It’s time, once again, to break out your oyster knives and make plans for the 14th annual Shuckin’ in the Park Oyster roast on Saturday, March 8, at the Old Santee Canal Park. Gates open at noon, and the festival runs from 1-6 p.m.
The Shuckin’ in the Park oyster roast will also feature activities for the children, including a jump castle, and live entertainment from Custom 4+2, whose blend of beach music, oldies and popular music has made them a local favorite.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Old Santee Canal Park nestled within the backwaters of Biggin Creek.
Food tickets can be purchased inside the gate. Small coolers are allowed, but PLEASE no pets or golf carts and tickets are NOT redeemable for food.
