
ST. STEPHEN, S.C.–The American Red Cross assisted a family of three, two adults and one child, whose St. Stephen residence, located at 132 Union Lane, was destroyed by fire on Saturday morning.
The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food, clothing, shoes, and temporary housing, as well as comfort kits containing personal hygiene items and referrals to partner organizations to help with the family’s long-term recovery.
Since January 1, 2014, the Palmetto SC Region of the American Red Cross has assisted more than 1000 individuals who have been affected by a disaster.
