BONNEAU, S.C.–The American Red Cross assisted a family of five, two adults and three children, whose home, located on Long Acre Drive in Berkeley County, was destroyed by fire Saturday morning.
The Red Cross provided the family with financial assistance for food, clothing, shoes and temporary lodging, as well as comfort kits containing personal hygiene items, and referrals to partner agencies to assist with the family’s long term recovery.
Since January 1 of this year, the Palmetto SC Region of the American Red Cross has assisted more than 1200 individuals affected by disaster.
