MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–According to Dan Moon, spokesperson for the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the department’s drug enforcement unit arrested one man Friday on meth charges and issued
warrants for two others.
Ian McGaughey, 30, was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and resisting arrest. Deputies say they discovered 1.5 grams of crystal meth, contained in a multitude of bags, in his vehicle at a residence, 114 Ashwood Court.
Drug Enforcement Unit, Captain Mike Williams said, “the Sheriff’s Office has also issued arrest warrants for two other suspects after finding all necessary components to manufacture meth inside a residence at 108 Messina Street.”
Joseph Kinsey, 27, and Dustin Lane, 26, are being sought on charges of attempting to manufacture methamphetamine.
