BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to spokesperson Dan Moon, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested six people in connection with two separate burglaries that occurred over the past week.
Moon says that on April 19th deputies responded to a reported burglary on Rail Drive in Summerville. The victims reportedly told deputies that they returned home to find their home had been burglarized and several items missing. The sheriff’s office, with the assistance of the Summerville Police Department, made three arrests in this case.
William Anthony Howell, 28, of Summerville and Jennifer Elizabeth Day, 29, of Moncks Corner are charged with 2nd degree burglary. David Clark Mount,33, of Summerville is charged with receiving and possessing stolen goods. Howell and Mount were given $40,000.00 surety bonds. Days had her bond set at $20,000.00.
All three are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
Moons say then on Apirl 21st the residents of a home on Dehayville Rd. in Pinopolis returned home and discovered that their house had been burglarized with several items missing, including firearms and electronics.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has charged three people with 1st degree burglary in connection with this crime including a juvenile, being charged as an adult, who is currently being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
Also charged are Cameron John Davidson , 17, of Pinopolis and Taylor James Steese, 17, of Cross
All three suspects were given $25,000.00 surety bonds.
