The show will also feature a variety of artist, Emil Koepcke (Sinthetic), Paul Choate (Project Alpha) and Christine Burnson (Undead Norm). Writer Matthew D. Smith (Simon Says) will also be in attendance.

The show is called Talking Flight Comic Book Show V, and this is the fifth comic book show they store has done to benefit a local charity. The event is free, but $5.00 donations are encouraged at the door, since the event is for charity.

This year’s charity is WINGS FOR KIDS, a charity that helps kids learn to behave well, make good decisions and build healthy relationships. WINGS does this by weaving a comprehensive social and emotional learning curriculum into a fun after school program. The kids learn life lessons they will need and have a place to go after school.

All donations taken from the show will go to cut costs for WINGS’ Graduation, an event for mere than 400 kids and 300 families. This event is to celebrate student’s individual progress not only in school, but in life as well. There will be a school-wide concert, a dinner and a graduation.

Past charities Park City Comics has held this event for include Toys for Tots and Communities in Schools.

Park City Comics also plans to hold more Talking Flight Comic Book Shows, new series of comic book themed events and publishing an anthology of upcoming and independent comic book artist.
