GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–After the April 8th City of Goose Creek Municipal Election, Mayor Michael Heitzler, Mayor Pro Tem Kimo Esarey, Council member Mark Phillips, and newly elected Debra Green-Fletcher took the oath of office.
The oath took place on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center and was administered by Judge Shirley Johnson.
This election marks Mayor Michael Heitzler’s tenth term in office, Mayor Pro Tem Kimo Esarey’s fifth term, and Council member Mark Phillps’ eighth term in office.
The newest member, Debra Green-Fletcher, will begin her first day in office on May 10, 2014, replacing longtime council member Marguerite H. Brown.
