GOOSE CREEK, S.C.—Deputies with the Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s office are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Officials with the sheriff’s office confirm one woman was shot to death while two teen girls were injured and transported to the hospital.
Berkeley Co. Coroner Bill Salisbury has identified the woman as 36-year-old Tammy Flowers. Investigators say she is the wife of the shooting suspect.
The shooting took place inside a home located on Elmwood Place, just off of Highway 52. Deputies say they are actively looking for Darryl Edward Flowers. He is reportedly the uncle of the two teenagers. They say they did find his vehicle off of Amy Drive.
Flowers is described as a black male, weighing 190 pounds and 6’1″ in height.
