ST. STEPHEN, S.C.–Another shooting has claimed yet another life in Berkeley Co.
Early Wednesday morning, St. Stephen Police responded to a shooting at a trailer park located on 1020 Graham Street.
The Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office was eventually called in to assist.
When officers arrived on scene, investigators say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound but provided little information. He died on the way to the hospital.
Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury has identified the victim as 41-year-old John David Morant of New York.

Wednesday’s deadly shooting makes the second in less than a week for Berkeley County.
On Saturday, deputies say 19-year-old Ariel Morgan was shot to death and multiple others were injured during a block party on Tish Lane in Moncks Corner.
So far, no one has been arrested in that case. Deputies are continuing to investigate.

Berkeley county sucks , my uncle was murdered almost three years ago at moonshine saloon and yet again Berkeley county just gave a slap on the wrist makes people think they can just do anything once they see people get away with it!
