ST. STEPHEN, S.C.—Berkeley Co. deputies have charged 21-year-old of Jamal Harris-Nelson with the murder of 41-year-old John David Morant of New York.
Harris-Nelson appeared in court Tuesday night where a judge denied him bond. He remains behind bars at the Berkeley Co. Detention Center.
On June 11th, St. Stephen Police responded to a shooting a trailer park located on 1020 Graham Street. The Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office was eventually called into assist.
When officers arrived on scene, investigators say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound but provided little information. He died on the way to the hospital.
