HANAHAN, S.C.–Berkeley County officials announced today that JBE Inc. will be expanding its operations by establishing a new facility in Hanahan. The company, which serves the automotive, paper, aerospace, recreational, and electrical industries, currently operates over 300,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space in Hartsville, SC, Charleston, SC and Pell City, AL.
“JBE has been a part of South Carolina’s business community for more than 30 years, and we are excited to celebrate with them once again as they create 20 new jobs,” said Governor Nikki Haley. “We look forward to their continued success”.
JBE Inc. was founded in 1982 and holds a Foreign Trade Zone designation. They work with numerous recognizable and leading brands, including Boeing, Cummins ENGINES, Honda Corporation, Otis Elevator, Hengst, ABB and Sonoco Products Company.
