GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The City of Goose Creek recognized its employees for their hard work and dedication during the recent city council meeting.
This year, the following outstanding employees and volunteers were recognized:
- 2014 City Employee of the Year Michelle Soderberg
- Golf Department Employee of the Year Todd Biegger
- Part Time/Seasonal Golf Department Employee of the Year Tom Heiden
- Department of Public Works Employee of the Year Chris Torres
- Police Department Officer of the Year Patrolman David Michael “Mike” Mitchum
- Police Department Civilian Employee of the Year Kevin Scott
- Recreation Department Employee of the Year Tom Wareham
- Part Time/Seasonal Recreation Department Employee of the Year Tammy Lyons
- Fire Department Employee of the Year Randy McNicoll
Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Senior Chaplain Tom Richmond for his work with the Goose Creek Police Department.
