MONCKS CORNER, S.C.– Cypress Gardens, a beautiful and unique tourist attraction, is excited to announce their upcoming workshops.
In an attempt to offer creative and educational experiences for children and adults alike, Cypress Gardens is offering a Garden Ornament Workshop in which participants will create beautiful garden ornaments with Portland cement.

Hypertufa Workshop (Cost: $35)
Saturday, July 26th: 9AM – 11AM
Students will learn how to make molds and mix tufa cement in order to craft a stepping stone and a flower pot resembling old tufa stoneware.
Sunday, July 27th: 1PM
Students will unmold projects from the previous day and learn concrete carving and finishing techniques.
Sand Cast Leaf Workshop (Cost: $30)
Saturday, July 26th: 1PM – 3PM
Students will learn to craft decorative garden ornaments using leaves collected from Cypress Gardens as molds. Large leaves work well for bird baths and small leaves make great soap dishes or wall art. Students will cast 3-4 leaves.
Sunday, July 27th: 1PM
Students will unmold the leaves and learn to trim and paint them.
