BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Dan Moon with the Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s office, deputies have arrested five suspects in connection with thefts from several vehicles in the Cane Bay subdivision in Summerville.
Moon said one suspect was spotted standing next to a vehicle he had just broken into, and in his possession were the very items taken from that vehicle.
Deputies said that they then arrested the teen and through further investigation, four additional suspects were charged with Burglary 1st Degree and multiple other vehicle break-ins in that subdivision.
The arrest included two juveniles.
One is currently being housed at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
The other was booked and since released to his parent. He was charged with Misprision of a Felony and False Information to Police.
Tyler Silence, 18, of Summerville has been charged with Burglary 1st Degree and multiple vehicle break-ins.
He was given a $75,000 surety bond.
Lawrence Frangos Jr., 17, of Moncks Corner has been charged with Burglary 1st Degree and multiple vehicle break-ins. He has been given a $70,000 surety bond.
William Countee III, 19, of Moncks Corner has been charged with Burglary 1st Degree and multiple vehicle break-ins. He has been given a $70,000 surety bond.
Silence is currently out on bond, but Frangos and Countee are currently being housed at the Hill Finklea Detention Center.
