At least one person has been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in the Jamestown and Shulerville area of Berkeley County.
In August, homeowners and several business have had their personal belongings stolen from them.
On Friday, deputies arrested Alvin White, 24, of St. Stephen and charged him with receiving stolen goods valued at $2,000 or less.
Currently, he still remains behind bars at the Hill Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner.
A judge set his bond at $10,000.
To make bail, he will be required to put down ten percent of the total amount.
According to court records, this is not White’s first run in with the law.
In February of this year, White pled guilty to burglary in the second degree.
Prior to that, in September 2013 White was charged in connection with a stolen vehicle. That case is currently still pending.
White’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 10th, 2014.
