BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Dan Moon, deputies with the Drug Enforcement Unit arrested three people on methamphetamine charges Monday.
Moon says the suspects were arrested at 512 McCrystal Circle following an investigation into illegal drug activity at that location.
Tiffany N. Steinbrecker, 19, Brandon Lee Varner, 26, and Justin Steven Michael, 26, have all been charged with attempt to manufacture meth, disposal of methamphetamine waste and manufacturing meth in the presents of a minor child.
Moon says there was an 18-month-old baby inside the residence where the drug was made.
All three are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center and will face a bond judge on Tuesday evening.
