A Firefighter Memorial  service will be held Thursday, August 28th,  at The Northwoods Assembly, 2600 North Main Street, Summerville, SC.   Viewing will be held from 1100 to 1300 hrs.,with a Full Firefighter Honors  Memorial service to follow at 1300hrs.  Any fire department wishing to attend with apparatus and personnel for the firefighter procession, please contact The City of Goose Creek Fire Department at (843)553-8350.

  • ALL OTHER PROCESSIONAL VEHICLES AND VEHICLES, RIGHT ONTO ST. JAMES AVE, RECEPTION TO FOLLOW AT THE CITY OF GOOSE CREEK FIRE DEPARTMENT STATION-1, 101 BUTTON HALL AVE, GOOSE CREEK, SC

DETAILED INFORMATION

The Funeral procession route for Firefighter/ EMT Steve Skipton Sr.  Immediately following the 1pm Memorial Service on August 28, 2014 held at the Northwoods Assembly at 2600 N. Main Street (17A), Summerville. The procession will exit the church property making a right onto North Main Street heading towards I-26. The procession will proceed, making a left onto College Park Road.   College Park Road to Crowfield Blvd (left turn). Proceed on Crowfield Blvd to the intersection of St. James Ave (176). (ONLY THE CITY OF GOOSE CREEK FIRE DEPARTMENT AND FAMILIES WILL MAKE A LEFT ONTO ST. JAMES AVE proceeding to McAlister Smith Funeral Home at 869 St. James Ave)  ALL OTHER personal vehicles and apparatus are requested to turn right onto St. James Ave.  A reception will be held at the City of Goose Creek Fire Department Station 1 at 101 Buttonhall Ave Goose Creek.
