GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to Goose Creek Police, officers responded to a shooting at the S&K apartment complex located at 107 Carolina Avenue.
Once on the scene, police discovered the victim, Bryant Kinsey, suffering from two gunshot wounds, one to the back and one to the neck area.
Police say they talked to a woman who witnessed the crime. Officers say the she was also able to positively identify the murder suspect,
Christopher James Smalls of Summerville, during a photographic lineup.
In an affidavit, the witness says she saw Smalls chasing the victim into an apartment and saw him shoot Kinsey.
Cops say Kinsey never regained consciousness and later died from his injuries at Trident Medical Center.
The witness stated that she also knew the victim.
Smalls was booked into the Hill Finklea Dentention Center and charged with murder.
