GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that took place Sunday night at a Goose Creek apartment complex.
According to Berkeley Co. Coroner Bill Salisbury, 9-1-1 dispatch received a call in reference to a shooting at River Ridge apartments on Harbour Lake Drive around 11:25 p.m.
The victim, 27-year-old Joshua Holmes of Ladson, was transported to Trident Hospital where he died at 3:20 a.m.
Salisbury says an autopsy will take place later today.
At this time, deputies do not have any suspects in custody at this time and the investigation continues.
