BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that occurred on Clements Ferry Road Sunday night.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly before 9 p.m.
Troopers say the driver of a 1980 Oldsmobile was traveling on Clements Ferry when the car veered off the road and hit a utility pole.
The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was the only person in the vehicle and died from the injuries received in the crash.
At this time, the Berkeley Co. Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity.
