BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—According to Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Dan Moon, the department’s drug enforcement unit arrested six people and seized 25 firearms, along with illegal drugs, following the execution of search warrants at two residences on Rutt Lane in Goose Creek on Monday morning.
Moon says the raids were carried out with the assistance of the Goose Creek Police Department, DEA, SLED and aerial support from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, after controlled purchases of cocaine base were made at 342 and 346 Rutt Lane.
Of the 25 firearms seized, including rifles, pistols and an AK-47, six were found to be stolen.
Darvis Baylock, 39, and Priscilla Baylock, 45, were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, trafficking cocaine, possession of a stolen firearm and simple possession of marijuana.
Brandon Myers, 21, is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and simple possession of marijuana.
Charged with distribution of cocaine base are Joseph Baylock, 35, and Michael Baylock, 25.
Deandre Baylock, 20, is charged with simple possession of marijuana.
