BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Dan Moon, deputies have arrested four individuals in connection with a burglary and home invasion in Berkeley County that occured around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Moon says deputies located a silver Dodge Durango in Summer Creek Mobile Home Park on College Park Road that was a vehicle suspected to have been used in a burglary on Cindy Drive in Summerville.
Moon says items from the burglary were located in the vehicle and four people were taken into custody Tuesday evening: 36-year-old John Alexander Darrieux of Summerville, 31-year-old Natalia Chisolm of Goose Creek, 31-year-old Joseph S. Arsenault of Summerville and a 16-year-old male were arrested at the scene.
A subsequent search of Chisholm’s apartment in Goose Creek, Moon says, resulted in the recovery of numerous items stolen during the home invasion, including: chess sets, identification documents belonging to the victims, medications belonging to the victims, a television set and personal items belonging to the victims.
In addition, four masks, similar to those used by the suspects in the home invasion, and two handguns were seized. A third handgun was located in the suspect’s vehicle, as well as identification documents from, as yet unknown, individuals.
