MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–With the holidays fast approaching, lots of fun events are just getting started in and around Berkeley County. Below, we’ve list a few that will be taking place in the very near future.

1. Downtown Moncks Corner 3rd Annual Halloween Festival
Friday  October 31st    4:30 pm- 6:30 pm
A free event for ages 8 and under located in Unity Park
An afternoon of street & treat with local merchants, costume contest,
games, and other activities.
Costume Contest times:
5:00 ages 0-2, 5:15 ages 3-4, 5:30 ages 5-6, 5:45 ages 7-8
Register between 4:30 and 5:00 in front of stage.

2. Moncks Corner BBQ Festival

November 7th 4pm-11pm November 8th 10am-4pm

The top 13 BBQ cookers in the SBN for 2014 will compete in Moncks Corner

for the “TEAM of the Year” title and winnings of $10,000

Food, Custom 4 & Friends Band, entertainment, custom golf cart show, kid’s area and more.

This event will be held at the New Recreation Complex at 418 East Main Street

3. 2nd Annual Cruisin In Style Golf Cart Show
Saturday November 8th, 2014

10:00 am – 4:00 pm

$20 entry fee

3 Categories: Customized Non-Lifted, Customized Lifted, Customized Limo

Trophies awarded to winner & runner up in each category & best in show
