Elephant ears, fun rides and games—Oh my!
That can only mean one thing. Yes, the Coastal Carolina Fair is finally back in town at the Ladson Exhange Park.
Today, gates officially open to the public at 3 p.m.
Admission is $8. Children 6 to 12-years-of-age get in for $5, and anyone under five-years-of-age gets in for FREE.
A $20 handstamp lets you ride all the rides.
Along with the fun rides, there will be plenty of good entertainment for the entire family to enjoy including the ‘Wolves of the World Show,’ ‘American Bull Riders Tour,’ and a performance by Mark Yuzuick, a hypnotist.
Several musical acts will also perform at this year’s fair including: Eddie Money, Danielle Bradbery, Big SMO and The Swon Brothers.
Since 1957, the Exchange Club of Charleston has hosted the fair here in the lowcountry. The event raises money for local charities, scholarships, and various community needs.
The 2013 fair gave club members the ability to offer more than $800,000 in support to more than 90 worthy organizations and students in the lowcountry in 2014.
The fair is in town until November 9th.
