BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce is continuing its promotion for the “Buy Local” initiative to help generate more revenue for local businesses.
Saturday, November 29th has been deemed “Small Business Saturday.”
Chamber leaders say the ultimate goal is to emphasize the importance of buying local and the positive economic impact it has on both residents and businesses.
For the week of November 24th-November 29th, the chamber will promote discounts of its members on a daily basis.
They will also be promoting additional specific deals for each day of the week in honor of the campaign.
“We are seeking local businesses to participate in this initiative to make it fun and profitable for Berkeley County,” organizers said.
The Chamber hopes “shopping local” will become second nature for everyone when considering a new purchase.
“We are encouraging all shoppers and local businesses to shop small and buy local,” stated organizers.
