BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–All Berkeley County Schools will operate according to a three-hour delay on Thursday, January 8, 2015 due to forecasts of extremely cold weather of extremely cold weather and the impact that the extreme temperatures would have on our aging bus fleet.
At this time, there are no expected cancellations of the district’s after-school childcare or programming tomorrow afternoon.
School district officials are asking all parents and guardians to dress children warmly tomorrow.
Hats, gloves, coats, and sweaters will be helpful in keeping children warm.
