BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce Board has initiated a comprehensive study to develop a new strategy for the economic development growth of Berkeley County.
The Berkeley Chamber is working with Market Street Services, a nationally recognized economic development consulting firm that assisted with strategies for some of the top nationally recognized communities, such as Nashville and Austin.
This will be an all-inclusive study, and as part of this process, the chamber is soliciting input from the community over the course of the next several weeks to ensure the county’s future economic development efforts remain mindful of the needs and wants of Berkeley County residents, businesses and workers.
In addition to a series of focus groups and interviews, the chamber has launched an online, community survey that is open to all current and former residents of the Berkeley County area.
“We want to shatter the record for a community’s response to such a survey, and we need your help!” stated chamber officials. “After you take the survey, please forward this email to your coworkers, friends and family, and share the survey link on your social media accounts.”
To take the survey, click here. The deadline is January 30th.
