MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Multiple agencies responded to the Applebee’s in Moncks Corner at approximately 1:30 a.m. Monday after they say a fire started inside the restaurant.
The Moncks Corner Rural Fire Department, Whitesville Rural Fire Department and Moncks Corner Fire Department quickly responded to the scene.
According to firefighters on scene, the fire started in the trash can located inside the manager’s office.
A total of 20 firefighters from the various agencies helped to extinguish the flames.
The extent of the damage is not clear at this time.
Luckily, no on was reportedly injured at the time of the fire.
This is the first time a fire has ever broken out inside the restaurant.

There have been no reports as to how the fire started yet. No Applebee’s employees were present when the fire started.
