GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to the Berkeley Co. Coroner’s Office, 21-year old Jesse Feagin, of Moncks Corner, was riding a moped on State Road near Domingo Drive when he was struck by a vehicle around 2:30 a.m.
Coroner Bill Salisbury stated that he was transported to MUSC where he died Saturday afternoon.
According to witnesses on scene, the victim’s girlfriend saw the accident unfold. She was reportedly in an SUV behind Feagin.
Police are said to be looking for a grey or silver Cadillac with possible front-end damage.
Feagin’s death has been ruled accidental and is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Goose Creek Police Department.
