BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–In celebration of “Drinking Water Week,” Berkeley County Water & Sanitation wants to see Berkeley Co. students create their best artwork.
The agency is asking interested children to design a poster that celebrates our most precious natural resource – water!
“Show us how essential water is to your daily life,” stated organizers of the contest.
Participants are allowed to use crayons, markers, paint, etc. (all mediums are accepted).
The winners in each category will be presented with checks: $100 (1st Place), $75 (2nd Place) and $50 (3rd Place).
This contest is open to all Berkeley County students in kindergarten through 8th grade in public, private or home schools.
All submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 2015. They can be dropped off Monday – Friday (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) at:
