BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–If you plan to travel along Red Bank Road this weekend, you may want to make alternative plans.
Berkeley County Government announced today that there will be a road closure this weekend.
It will affect a major road in Goose Creek and access to the Weapons Station / Joint Base Command Charleston.
Beginning at 6:00AM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 – Red Bank Road at Liberty Hall Road on the Weapons Station/Joint Base Command Charleston side of Liberty Hall Road will be closed for CSX railroad crossing repairs.
The closure will be in effect until 7:00PM on Sunday, April 19, 2015.
Access to the Weapons Station / Joint Base Command Charleston on Saturday and Sunday will be via Cypress Gardens Road and Bushy Park Road.
