We’re sorry to deliver the news that famous chef Homaro Cantu was found dead at the age of 38 years old. After working under the late chef Charlie Trotter, he rose to fame by mixing science and fine dining at his Chicago restaurant Moto. On top of his successful career in the kitchen, he appeared on a number of reality cooking shows including Iron Chef, Hell’s Kitchen, and Dinner Impossible. Cantu died of an apparent suicide and was found inside the building where he planned to open a new brewery. We’re sending our condolences to Cantu’s family during this tough time. Rest in Peace.
