BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Several fire departments throughout Berkeley County were dispatched to a house fire on Shadybrook Drive in Cane Bay shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night.
Once on scene, firefighters found a 2-story house fully involved in flames.
Authorities say there were two people home at the time the blaze broke out.
One person inside the house was reportedly treated for smoke inhalation but is said to being doing fine today.
Firefighters say the fire started in the garage.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
