GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–It’s not every day that a vehicle goes crashing into a building or house in Berkeley County; however, that’s exactly what happened Tuesday night.
Shortly before 9 p.m., an SUV crashed into the American Legion building on Howe Hall Road.
The vehicle fully made its way inside the building.
Goose Creek firefighters and other first responders rushed to the scene.
The good news is no one was injured.
The bad news is the American Legion is left with a badly damaged building.
The cost of all the damage is unknown as this time.
It’s also still unclear what caused the driver to crash into the building in the first place.
Goose Creek Police are investigating the incident.
