GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–The community is coming together to help repair the American Legion located on Howe Hall Road.
On May 27th, firefighters say an SUV fully crashed inside the building.
Goose Creek firefighters and other first responders rushed to the scene.
The good news is no one was injured.
On June 6th there will be a fundraiser to help repair the damage caused to the building.
The money raised will go toward the building’s insurance deductible.
The event will take place at 116 Howe Hall Road starting and 12:30 p.m. and running until 4:30 p.m.
Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
There will also be cash door prize drawings; however, you must be present to win the door prizes.
