Macedonia Man Fed Up With Crime Fights Back With New Facebook Page

Macedonia MACEDONIA, S.C.—A longtime homeowner in the small community of Macedonia says he’s fed up with crime and has decided to do something about it.

He’s created a new Facebook page called “Crime in the ‘Donia.”

“Since there seems to be an outbreak of crime and thievery in the Macedonia area, it seems only natural to have a place to report it and tell neighbors,” the page reads.

Assuming not everyone, particular those committing the crimes, aren’t too thrilled with the site, the 30 year resident of Macedonia says he wishes to remain anonymous. However, he says he’s determined to help clean up his community.

“Macedonia is home, and the thieves and thugs have a network to communicate, and I thought why don’t normal, working folks have a place to post what they see and hear and experience,” the site’s creator explained. “Also, if this thing gets going the BCSO could post alerts to this page about concerns in this area. Would that not be great?”

Since its launch this week, more than 700 people already like the page. Its popularity continues to grow.

“Folks like the page so far. Since last night it went up and we have almost 400 likes,” the Macedonia homeowner stated. “I want the thugs to know they aint welcome and sooner or later the coroner is gonna come for ya, not the sheriff.”

The site’s page creator says he blames the increase in crime in the Macedonia area on a number of factors.

“Bad parents, no good judges and cheap drugs is the problem,” he explained. “It is getting worse.”
