BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.—Berkeley County sheriff’s deputies say they are actively looking for a man accused of manufacturing methamphetamine.
According to Berkeley Co. Spokesperson Michael Mule, deputies are looking for 36-year-old Jamey Koon of Summerville.
Deputies say he fled on foot after they initially stopped him for a traffic violation along St. James Avenue in Goose Creek. Koon was on his moped at the time of the stop.
After showing officers his driver’s license, he reportedly fled on foot.
Mule says that’s when officers located the mobile meth lab.
Anyone with information about Koon’s whereabouts is asked to call the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 719-4424.
