Berkeley County Schools’ To Host ‘Shaggin’ Under the Stars’ Event

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Berkeley County School District is inviting everyone to “get on the bus” and support education in Berkeley County by attending Shaggin’ Under the Stars, the second event of the Stuff the Bus campaign.

Shaggin’ Under the Stars will be at Old Santee Canal Park on Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Adults can join in the fun for just $5 or a bag of school supplies.

There is no admission fee for students or children. ‘Custom 4’ will provide musical selections and everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic dinners.

During the Stuff the Bus campaign, community members are encouraged to donate school supplies to help provide students with the necessary tools and resources for learning.
