BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–One of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office ‘Most Wanted’ has been taken into custody.
“On behalf of Sheriff Duane Lewis and the entire Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, we thank the public for their assistance in helping the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office arrest one of our previous ‘Most Wanted Criminals,'” read a post on BCSO’s official Facebook page.
Calvin Garrett Liabastre was wanted by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Goose Creek Police Department.
Liabastre was taken into custody on July 15, 2015 and was charged with trespassing after notice, failure to stop, driving under suspension 3rd offense and above.
He was also served a bench warrant from BCSO for giving false information. Furthermore, a hold was placed for the Goose Creek Police Department, as they have several charges on Liabastre.
Authorities added that Liabastre has also been a person of interest in several thefts in the Macedonia area over the past few months.
