BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, on Aug. 14, 2015 his office received a call from MUSC reporting a death of a 2-year-old child.
On Aug. 11, 2015 Bryce Ruby, of Moncks Corner was found floating face down in an above ground swimming pool at his residence, Salisbury stated.
He was flown to MUSC and placed on life support until his death.
The death was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
Salisbury has ruled the baby’s death as an accidental drowning.
