Mayor Proclaims ‘Fleet Reserve Association Days’ In Goose Creek

GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler has proclaimed Sept. 10-13 as “Fleet Reserve Association Days” in Goose Creek.

Mayor Heitzler was joined at City Hall by several FRA Branch 269 and FRA Auxiliary members as he signed the proclamation on Aug. 17.

The FRA is a service organization with more than 70,000 active duty, retired and reserve members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. The Association’s 70th Southeast Region Convention will be held in September.

The City Proclamation recognizes the FRA members for their continued service to the nation.
