
ST. STEPHEN, S.C.–According to school district leaders, Timberland High School was evacuated at approximately 2:10 p.m. as a precautionary measure due to a reported bomb threat.
Law enforcement officials and the fire department are currently on the scene to investigate the threat and inspect the building, authorities stated.
“All students, faculty and staff are safe,” stated Aimee Murray, the school district’s spokesperson.
This incident marks the second bomb threat at the school in only four days.
The school was evacuated shortly before noon on September 11th due to a reported bomb threat as well.
Students and faculty were allowed to re-enter the school about an hour later.
